Environmental Compliance Policies

pgb-Polska sp.zo.o. is actively working with manufacturers and suppliers to offer products that are in compliance with the European Union Environmentel Directive. We are following RoHS and REACH.

RoHS

RoHS is the Restriction on Hazardous Substances directive. It’s a directive from the European Union which bans the use of certain substances used in making our products. For example the restriction to use lead(PB) and chrome(Cr) based products during the production process.

REACH

REACH is the European Regulation on Registration, Evaluation, Authorization and Restriction of chemicals in the EU. REACH works to protect environments and human health where chemicals pose a thread.

At pgb-Polska, we are constantly checking our processess to ensure that we are keeping the environment, our team and our customers safe.

Examples of what we do, to maintain our impact on the environment :

All our polyamide anchors are made from halogen-free PA6.

Some of our products get covered by a certain finish, giving it that little extra. For example, when galvanizing our products, we make sure that the galvanization process is ChromeVI free, in conformity with the RoHS directive.

Apart from this, we seek to minimalize the packaging we use when shipping our products. Also using cardboard that’s already been recycled or can be recycled.
