Quality and precision

pgb-Polska manufactures high quality fixings

Selfmade

At pgb-Polska, we strive to give you the best fixing possible. That is why we develop and manufacture our nylon an polypropylene fixings ourselves. This way, we can keep a close eye on the quality and on the production process of our anchors. Furthermore, by manufacturing the fixings ourselves, we have a constant flow of our products, ensuring our customers are always supplied.

Moulds

Our fixings are made by a process of injecting our base materials in a mould. We develop the forms ourselves, giving us the product we want. The moulds are injected with Nylon or Polypropylene (PP). The material is heated until it melts, and then injected under pressure in the mould. When the material is cooled down in the mould, the fixing is ready. For our nylon anchors, we moisture the product before shipping it, giving in the toughness and the elongation it needs to make a reliable plug.

Base Materials

As base material, we use either nylon or polypropylene (PP). Polypropylene has the advantages that it can be perfectly recycled - we even use recycled polypropylene for some of our anchors - and that it is a cheaper base material, which gives a price friendly fixing.

Nylon is a more flexible material than PP. This gives the advantage that it won't break as fast as PP. Nylon can be used in a greater range of temperatures than PP, lower and higher. Nylon gives a though and flexible fixing that can be used in most circumstances.

Aren't you sure what type of anchor you have got? Well, our nylon range has a darker colour than our polypropylene range. That how you can spot the difference in the glimpse of an eye.

Tests

All our products are thoroughly tested during and after their development. Not only by ourselves, but also by independent organisations. We obtain both domestic Polish approvals as European approvals in the form of an ETA. These approvals guarantee that our products have the strength and toughness in every circumstance they are developed for.
